The Blue Jays announce roster move ahead of game against the Marlins
The Blue Jays announced this afternoon as roster move that most expected as Bieber has been reinstated from the 60 day IL for his start tonight against the Marlins.
ROSTER MOVES:
RHP Shane Bieber has been reinstated from the 60-day IL and will start tonight's game
Fans have been all over social media over the last couple days voicing their excitement for tonight's game as they will finally get to see Bieber take the mound in a Blue Jays uniform.
Haven't been this amped for a Blue Jays game since Mad Max's first start
Bieber has not played in over a year and a half but from his last few outings on his rehab assignment, it looks like he is more than ready to return to the mound in the MLB.
In Bieber's last full season in the MLB in 2023, he finished with a 3.80 ERA in cluding a 6-6 record with 107 strikeouts in 128 innings pitched which is what the Blue Jays are hoping to get out of him for the rest of the season and moving forward.
The Blue Jays take on the Marlins in Miami at 7:10 PM at Loandepot Park.
