The Toronto Blue Jays announced their lineup for tonight's game as they look to bounce back against the Boston Red Sox and Anthony Santander is surprisingly high in the order.

The Blue Jays DFA'd Alek Manoah yesterday while activating Santander off IL and placing Ty France on 10-day IL with an oblique injury.

Blue Jays have Anthony Santander high in the lineup for his first game back

Blue Jays are in the middle of some very important games as they look to win the American League East division in the next few days and avoid a Wild Card series.

Toronto announce their lineup for today's game against the Red Sox in which Santander is officially back as he will be batting fifth in the lineup behind Alejandro Kirk.

Look who's back

This will not be an easy test as Santander will have to face Red Sox ace, Garrett Crochet, for his first game back in the majors since late May.

The Blue Jays decided to put Santander fifth in the order which seems surprisingly high since he has not played in quite some time and the last time he played, struggled quite a bit.

At the same time, this move might end up giving Santander a big boost of confidence and give him some much needed momentum for the playoffs.
