Toronto Blue Jays announce more roster moves as relief pitcher is replaced
Toronto Blue Jays are set to play the Miami Marlins this afternoon for the final game of the series and announced a roster move ahead of the game.
The Blue Jays have been making quite a few roster moves lately as they just extended Alek Manoah's rehab assignment with a 10-day extension which they are allowed to do three times with pitcher returning from Tommy John Surgery.
Blue Jays announce roster move involving Paxton Schultz
On field reporter Hazel Mae broke the news not long before the game against the Marlins that Paxton Schultz was in the Blue Jays clubhouse and that a roster move would be coming before the game.

The Blue Jays just confirmed that they have called up Schultz from Triple-A as Mason Fluharty has been optioned back to the Buffalo Bisons.

#BlueJays announce they've optioned Mason Fluharty to AAA and recalled Paxton Schultz, who can give them some length out of the bullpen.
Schultz has a 4.56 ERA so far this season for the Blue Jays in 23.2 innings pitched along with 27 strikeouts in 12 games.
Fluharty on the other hand has a 4.94 ERA in 47.1 innings pitched this season but has been playing much better lately as he has a 2.08 ERA in his last 7 games pitched.
