The Blue Jays have been going through a lot of their bullpen arms over the last week which is why they likely decided to bring up Lucas to help out with a fresh arm as he will be active for this afternoon's game.
Lucas had a solid start during his last time up in the majors but fell apart afterwards which resulted in him getting sent back down.
As of right now, Lucas has a 6.66 ERA in 24.1 innings pitched with the Blue Jays with 23 strikeouts and a 1.52 WHIP in a total of 6 games played.
Hopefully this time around he will be better after gaining some confidence in Triple-A.
