The Toronto Blue Jays announced their starting lineup for game 1 of the World Series tonight against the Los Angeles Dodgers.

The Blue Jays announced their roster for the World Series this morning which included Bo Bichette but many were still wondering where they would have him in the lineup after he was seen practicing at second base.

Blue Jays announce lineup for game 1

Trey Yesavage was announced as the starting pitcher for game 1 for the Blue Jays which is quite the accomplishment for the rookie pitcher who was playing Single-A at the start of the season.

Trey Yesavage's 2025 timeline:

4/8: 1st career start in Single-A
5/20: 1st High-A start
6/12: 1st Double-A start
8/14: 1st Triple-A start
9/15: 1st MLB start
10/5: 1st playoff start
10/13: 1st ALCS start
10/24: 1st World Series start

Unbelievable.

The Blue Jays announced their roster this afternoon ahead of game 1 with Bichette playing a second base, Ernie Clement at third base, Andres Gimenez still at shortstop and George Springer remains DH for game 1.

YOUR GAME 1 LINEUP

The big test for this lineup will be seeing how Bichette does at second base as he has never played that position at the major league level and moving forward in the series they will likely change things up if it does not work out in game 1.

The Dodgers and Blue Jays kick off the World Series tonight at 8:00 PM ET at the Rogers Centre.
