Friday is going to be MAD fun
#BlueJays RHP Max Scherzer to join the #Bisons on an MLB injury rehab assignment, scheduled to start for Herd Friday vs. @CLBClippers . (6:35 p.m.).
Reports suggest that Scherzer is expected to make about 60-65 pitches in his first start in Buffalo.
AAA Bisons announced that Max Scherzer is scheduled to start for Buffalo this Friday at Sahlen Field, so his latest bullpen session presumably went well. Scherzer expected to throw 60-65 pitches.
Hopefully everything goes well and Scherzer will be able to make one final start in Triple-A before coming back up to the Blue Jays which will make a massive difference to their starting rotation.
The Blue Jays starting rotation has been their weakest point so far this season mainly due to Scherzer being out and Bowden Francis playing so poorly which is why having Scherzer back will make a huge difference.
