Toronto Blue Jays fans are pissed Addison Barger is at risk of losing his job
The Toronto Blue Jays have outfielder Daulton Varsho returning to play shortly which means a player will soon be optioned or DFA'd and fans are worried it might be Addison Barger.
The Blue Jays announced that Varsho is finally done his shoulder surgery recovery and is ready to get back into the lineup after his stint in Triple-A where he showed he is fully healthy.

Addison Barger was called back up a couple weeks ago and has been playing some solid baseball in his limited playing time, even yesterday he went 2 for 2 with an incredible RBI double off the bench.
Addison Barger went 2-for-2 off the bench today including an RBI double he absolutely smoked at 113 MPH off the bat.

Despite performing on the filed, fans are worried that the team might decide to option him back down to the minors instead of Nathan Lukes or someone else which many believe would be a mistake.
If the Blue Jays decide to option Barger to AAA over Lukes when Varsho gets activated off the IL on Tuesday I will actually lose my f*ckin mind.

Barger has proven that he belongs in the majors defensively and on offense which seems to make the choice clear that he should stay but the front office might think otherwise for some reason.
