The Blue Jays kicked off their series against the Yankees yesterday in a great comeback win in the ninth inning to break their losing streak with a 4-2 win in New York.
Blue Jays game against the Yankees this afternoon has been cancelled
The Yankees announced that the game this afternoon has been cancelled and will be rescheduled for tomorrow at 1:35PM which means it will be a double-header but apparently only fans with tickets for tomorrow's game will be able to attend.
Today's Yankees-Blue Jays game (Saturday, April 26) has been rescheduled due to the forecast of sustained inclement weather and will be made up tomorrow, Sunday, April 27, as the second game of a single-admission doubleheader, which will begin with the first game at 1:35pm.
Only tickets dated Sunday, April 27, will be valid for the doubleheader.
While this is part of the game, especially early on in the season when there is a lot of rain, it is unfortunate that fans that purchased tickets for today's game will not be able to attend the double header tomorrow only they buy new tickets.
Hopefully the Blue Jays benefit from an extra day's rest and end up closing out the series tomorrow with at least 1 win which would be great after being swept by the Houston Astros.
