Toronto Blue Jays game plan for Daulton Varsho's return revealed

The Toronto Blue Jays have been desperately waiting for outfielder Daulton Varsho return to the lineup and it looks like it is finally approaching.
Varsho recently played in his first Triple-A game since having his surgery in which he hit an RBI and picked up right were he left off from in Spring Training as he was on fire at the plate.

The Toronto Blue Jays are apparently expecting Varsho to be ready to return as early as this weekend against the New York Yankees but there is a chance his return gets pushing into next week.

Varsho seems to be recovering quicker than expected as he played for the Buffalo Bisons on Tuesday night and is now already eyeing a return to the major leagues in the next week.
The 28-year-old began a rehab assignment over the weekend, getting into two games with the Dunedin Blue Jays and suiting up with the Buffalo Bisons on Tuesday night. He continues to inch closer to returning to the big league roster, and so far, the signs are trending in the right direction. -Wallace
There is a good chance that once Varsho return's Addison Barger will be the one that is pulled off the roster as he was only recently brought up and could definetely benefit from playing every day in Triple-A instead of riding the bench.
Barger is the most probable casualty of Varsho's reemergence, and there won't be much playing time for him anyway once Varsho returns. Lukes may also be a potential casualty once Varsho is healthy, but the Jays are likely more prone to have him sit on the bench versus someone like Barger -Wallace
Barger has looked great defensively since being called up but it his struggles at the plate that will likely get him sent back down to Triple-A once Varsho is healthy.
