The Toronto Blue Jays announced an injury update on Daulton Varsho as well as the results on the scans on his hand.
During last night's loss, Varsho left the game in the 7th innings after taking a 97 MPH fastball off his finger on a checked swing and was replaced by Myles Straw.

The Blue Jays announced after the game that Varsho had X-rays done on his hand and they came back negative which means there is no fracture involved which is great news.
Daulton Varsho (right hand - pinky) received good news, x-rays negative.
Varsho was removed in the B7 after he was hit by a 96.9 mph sinker.

Varsho's X-rays came back negative. I'd expect he's still swollen, sore and will miss a few games, but initial tests are good.

While Varsho does not seem to have a fracture, there is a good chance that he will miss the rest of the series against the Brewers as his hand is quite swollen.
This is an unfortunate situation for the Blue Jays who cannot seem to keep Varsho in the lineup but it could have been a lot worse so they should be happy he will only be missing a few games.
Varsho has missed a solid portion of the season but overall has been incredible for the Blue Jays as he has 15 homeruns and 42 RBIs with a .226 batting average in 47 games this season.
Hopefully the Blue Jays will be able to get Varsho back in time for their series against the Cincinnati Reds.
