Toronto Blue Jays John Schneider makes interesting comments regarding Anthony Santander
Toronto Blue Jays newest slugger Anthony Santander has been off to a low start this season but seemed to start waking up yesterday with a three homerun that manager John Schneider spoke of after the game.
The Blue Jays have been on an awful run over the last few weeks but fans are hoping that last night's comeback win is the start of a momentum swing in the right direction for Toronto.

Santander has been off to quite a rough start this season with Toronto after coming off a career year in 2024 he has been one of the Blue Jays worst hitters to stat the season.
Last night after a great game, manager John Schneider spoke on Santander's slow start and mentioned how the month of May begins today which Santander has always does incredible well in.

Santander over his career has always started off his seasons slowly such as in 2023 he had aa .208 batting average in April and 2022 a .224 average but in both seasons he ended up with over 30 homeruns and 80 RBIs.
The veteran outfielder typically starts slow in April before heating up later, as he hit just .208 in the month last season, .205 in 2023, and .224 in 2022. However, he ended '22 with 33 homers and 89 RBI, '23 with 28 homers and 95 RBI, and '24 with 44 homers and 102 RBI. -Valdez
Throughout his career in the month of May, SAntander has a .263 battin g average with a .337 on base percentage and .825 OPS so fans and Schneider are hoping this is the start of some big changes.
