Toronto Blue Jays manager John Schneider has words for Vladimir Guerrero Jr as he continues to struggle
Toronto Blue Jays superstar Vladimir Guerrero Jr has been having an underwhelming season so far in 2025 in which manager John Schneider spoke on after yesterday's loss.
Guerrero made it to the American League All-Star team but many argued that he was voted there due to being popular and not for being the best first baseman in the league.

This 2025 season has not gone according to plan for Guerrero apart from signing a massive $500 million contract as he has not been putting up bad numbers but they have not been up to his usual standard.
Against the San Francisco Giants yesterday, Guerrero went 0 for 3 with a walk in which John Schneider spoke of after the game saying he wants Guerrero to take more shots for power hits even if it means more strikeouts.

Guerrero currently has 12 homeruns, 46 RBIs, a .275 batting average and .383 on base percentage which is far from bad but after signing the third biggest contract in MLB history, people simply expect more from him.
In his last 7 games, Guerrero has seen 23 at bats with only a total of 5 hits and 2 RBIs for a .217 batting average which once again is not good enough.
The good news is that Schneider clearly believes in his superstar and wants to see him get through this tough period which is why he wants to see him take more risks at the plate.
The Blue Jays plan on going far into the playoffs this season and if they want to be real World Series contenders, they need Guerrero to be at the top of his game.
