Toronto Blue Jays manager John Schneider is making history in incredible fashion

John Schneider recently reached 4th in wins as a manager in franchise history for the Toronto Blue Jays .
In just three years it is quite the accomplishment, and with this pace he's on he won't stop at just 4th.
John Schneider becomes 4th all time winningest manager in Blue Jays history
Rob Longley of the Toronto Sun recently spoke on the rapid success John Schneider has realized in only three years with the Toronto Blue Jays.
"While there's plenty of work to do and many seasons to manage to catch leader Cito Gaston at 894, Schneider's 286 victories in just over three years at the helm is an impressive validation of his work."-Longley
If Schneider were to keep this pace up he can actually become the winningest coach in franchise history with enough years under his belt.
"Perhaps most impressively, Schneider's win percentage of .540 is second only to Cox's .549 among those who have managed 100 games or more for the Jays. Some would argue that it isn't exactly a deep field, given some of the forgettable names who managed forgettable seasons, but it's impressive nonetheless."-Longley
Schneider goes on to give credit to his players as well as the organization for being so stable and easy to manage.
"«It just takes time. It really takes time. You're dealing with different personalities every single day. And thankfully, there's been a lot of stability here with staff and players, to where we're really comfortable talking through things now.»-Schneider
Schneider also attributes a lot of his success to learning how to communicate and handle different personalities. Learning how to handle certain players, how they take encouragement or criticism is key to keeping everyone on the same page.
The Toronto Blue Jays are on a roll this season, leading the AL East and looking to make some waves this postseason. A lot of this success needs to be credited to Schneider not only as a baseball tactician but as a leader.
