Toronto Blue Jays manager John Schneider makes ridiculous comments on Jeff Hoffman after loss

The Toronto Blue Jays lost this afternoon to the Chicago White Sox in which a lot of the blame was put on relief pitcher Jeff Hoffman but apparently manager John Schneider does not agree.
Hoffman had an incredible start to the season in Toronto but since May have been a big liability for them as he continues to struggle on the mound as his ERA is continuously getting worse.
Blue Jays manager John Schneider makes strange comments on Jeff Hoffman
The Blue Jays sent in Hoffman this afternoon and he once again blew the game for the Blue Jays giving the White Sox the lead late in the game which led to another loss to Chicago.
After the game, Schneider stated that they trust Hoffman late in games and even though it is easy to blame him, he claims that he has won a lot of game for them this season and that right now is just a tough stretch.

While Schneider seems to believe in Hoffman, it is hard to look at the numbers and think that he has won them a bunch of games this season when he has a 5.72 ERA in his last 30 games.
Even Hoffman admitted after the game that he cost the team the win and knows he needs to be better adding that this type of losses fuel him to be better.
«It fuels me and drives me to want to be my best. It hurts even more when you don't do your job and cost us the game.»

These comments from Schneider are exactly what Blue Jays fans hate so much as they are tired of him not holding players accountable when they are playing poorly.
