Toronto Blue Jays manager John Schneider sends a message to Vladimir Guerrero Jr
The Toronto Blue Jays took down the Detroit Tigers last night and after the game manager John Schneider sent a clear message to Vladimir Guerrero Jr.
Blue Jays pitcher Eric Lauer was on fire yesterday as he pitched a total of 8 innings for the Blue Jays as he finished with 5 strikeouts while only giving up 5 hits and 1 earned run in a 11-4 win.

After the game, Schneider had a lot of praise for his team including Lauer, joking that he would have a lot more grey in his beard if it wasn't for him and how well he has been pitching.

Vladimir Guerrero Jr also had a great game against the Tigers finishing with 3 hits and 2 RBIs in 5 at bats which is a nice change of pace since he has had a tough time at the plate this month.
Schneider spoke on Guerrero's past struggles as well stating that he believes in the superstar and wants to make sure that he just does his job and does not put any added pressure on himself.
«We need him to be the player that he is. We just need him to be a part of this team,» -Schneider
«The power is going to come, but he's been so integral to what we've been doing from a culture and performance standpoint, and we just don't want him to put pressure on himself. He very well may hit 40 by the end of the season, but what he's doing now to help us win every single night is what we're looking for.» -Schneider
Clearly despite the struggles Guerrero has an entire team including the coaching staff that believes in him which is why getting out of this slump should not be a problem.
