The Toronto Blue Jays kick off the ALCS tomorrow night at the Rogers Centre against the Seattle Mariners and have just announced their starter.

Toronto kicked off their ALDS series with
Kevin Gausman followed by
Trey Yesavage which worked out great as they took a 2-0 series lead after a couple unbelievable performances.
The
Blue Jays announce this morning that Gausman will once again kick the series off for them as he will be one the mound against the Mariners tomorrow.
Kevin Gausman is listed as the Game 1 starter for the Blue Jays in today's ALCS media schedule.
Gausman is expected to speak to the media at some point today about getting the start and his mentality going into tomorrow's big first game.

After game 1 of the ALDS, Gausman currently has a 1.59 ERA in 5.2 innings pitched, along with 3 strikeouts and a 1.06 WHIP.
The Blue Jays clearly trust him going into such a big game and he is also their pitcher with the most days rest that was on the ALDS roster.
The Blue Jays take on the Mariners tomorrow night for game 1 of the ALCS at 8:03 PM at the Rogers Centre.
