The Blue Jays took on the Twins today in another great victory of 5-1 improving to 10-9 at Spring Training and officially being over .500 for the first time this season. Pitcher Bowden Francis impressed everyone today in his 6 innings pitched, possibly forcing his place onto the opening day roster.

Bowden Francis played great today against the Twins today pitching 6 innings while allowing 4 hits and getting 2 strikeouts. As he continues to play great in the Grapefruit league, he is slowly winning the battle for the 5th spot as a starting pitcher for the Blue Jays.
