Toronto Blue Jays prospect pitcher Trey Yesavage has been phenomenal in his first year pro to the point where there is actually a chance he could end up in the MLB this season.

Yesavage was recently promoted to High-A with the Vancouver Canadians from the Dunedin Blue Jays where he was dominating and basically picked up exactly where he left off from.

The control and speed at which Yesavage has been pitching at so far this season is one of a polished veteran which is why many believe that there is a realistic chance he gets call up to Toronto this season.

If he continues to play this well, he will likely move up to Double-A in a couple weeks and if he is able to continue to deliever in Double-A and Triple-A after that, there is no reason that the Blue Jays should not give him a shot.

Since Toronto has been dealing with all kind of injuries this season and issues with their starting rotation, getting Yesavage towards the end of the season would be a massive benefit.

Hopefully things continue to work out for the young star pitcher and fans will get to cheer him on in a Blue Jays uniform soon.
