A healthy Giménez is a game changer
The vibe around camp is electric because everyone knows what a healthy Andrés can actually do.
Fans are breathing a sigh of relief seeing him sprint without that cautious limp from last July.
He is expected to take over as the everyday shortstop while Bo Bichette works through his own recovery.
Pairing him with Ernie Clement gives the Blue Jays one of the most elite defensive middle-infields in baseball.
Last season was tough, but his clutch home runs in the ALCS showed he has the heart of a champion.
Giménez is also excited about the World Baseball Classic and representing his home country with pride.
The focus now is simple: stay healthy and reclaim that 2022 All-Star form we all love.
With his speed returning, we could see him back in the 30-stolen base club very soon.
The road to October starts with a healthy ankle and a clear mind in Spring Training.
