The U.S media shared their thoughts on the Los Angeles Dodgers defeating the Toronto Blue Jays in game 2 of the World Series, and tying the series up at 1-1, it mostly in large part due to Yoshinobu Yamamoto's incredible complete game.

The series is now shifting to Los Angeles, with two polar opposite results in the first two games of the series, the next three in Los Angeles are bound to be exciting.

Yamamoto's complete game powers Dodgers past Blue Jays in game 2.

Jermaine Wilson of CP24 compiled all the reactions of the U.S media outlets, to see what everyone is saying following the Dodgers win. Yamamoto neutralized the Blue Jays hitting, which seemed unstoppable in game 1.
After game 1, most outlets seem to finally be praising the Blue Jays but things turned quickly after the 5-1 loss in game 2.
"On Fox Sports post-game broadcast, analysts called Yamamoto's outing «an absolute masterpiece,» marveling at his precision and control. The 27-year-old right-hander retired 20 Blue Jays batters and kept Toronto off balance all night - the kind of dominance that had David Ortiz declaring, «You have Snell, nasty you have Ohtani, nasty but Yamamoto is the nastiest guy out of the whole squad.»-Wilson

Yamamoto only gave up four hits, with no walks, and one earned run, while striking out eight. After the Blue Jays put up 11 in game 1, it seemed as though their hitting would take over the series, but Yamamoto made them look like minor league hitters. Al Leiter of MLB network shared his thoughts.
"«Curve balls - I love it because of how much slower it is. He was able to get these hitters up until late in the game. He ended up showing why he is a big-game pitcher.»-Leiter

The series now heads to Los Angeles where the Blue Jays will look to bounce back in game 3, with Max Scherzer pitching for the Blue Jays and Tyler Glasnow for the Dodgers.
It will be interesting to see if the Blue Jays will regain their hitting prowess, or the Dodgers pitching will continue to dominate.
