With the 2024 All-Star voting officially starting, Fans will have until June 27th to try and get the player they want in the game, But who will represent the Toronto Blue Jays? better yet, who deserves to be given the honor?
MLB has opened the voting for the 2024 All-Star Game! The question is, which #BlueJays even deserve a vote?
Last year was a crazy year for our team in the North, the Blue Jays had 5 players selected to the All-Star team, Kevin Gausman, Jordan Romano, Whit Merrifield, Vladimir Guerrero Jr. and Bo Bichette.
With a mediocre season so far as a whole, and some uncharacteristic play from some of the stars, it doesn't seem like Bichette, Guerrero Jr or Romano will get the nod this year.
The main and seemingly only player that truly deserves to be an All-Star this season is Starting Pitcher José Berríos. For most of the early parts of the season, Berrios was the league leader in ERA, and it still sits very low at 2.78. His record clearly doesn't reflect his performances, but his numbers sure do, as he has also racked up 60 punch outs in 80 innings of work.
