Yankees broadcaster Michael Kay lashes out on Jamie Campbell in massive meltdown

New York Yankees broadcaster had quite the moment today as he lashed out on Toronto Blue Jays broadcaster Jamie Campbell.
Campbell recently clapped back at Kay for comments he made about the Blue Jays not being a first place team in which Campbell pointed out after the series that they are not literally a first place team.

Today, Kay decided to reply to Campbell, stating that the Blue Jays are in fact in first place team coming back on his comments from earlier in the week.
«What I would say to Jamie is I can easily say the Blue Jays are a first-place team because I'm not a fawning fanboy. I'm a broadcaster,» Kay said during his Sunday Conversation with Nancy Newman before the Yankees-Mets series finale at Citi Field. «And the bottom line is they are, in fact, a first-place team.» -Kay
Kay then followed that up by ripping into Campbell basically stating how unprofessional it was to wave a broom in the post-game show and that Yankees broadcaster Jack Curry would have been fired if he did the same.
«Imagine if (YES Network studio host) Jack Curry was waving a broom on the Yankees postgame show,» Kay said. «He would probably be called into the office and shortly fired after that." -Kay
Then Kay continued by stating that Campbell should not be this confident about the Blue Jays being in first place in the division since there is still a lot of the season to be played.
«Now, I love Toronto. It is a cosmopolitan city. It is one of the greatest cities in the world, for me. You're waving a broom on a postgame show, you are turning it into Mayberry RFD. I just don't get it. I don't understand it. You should be proud of the fact you are in first place.
«And one final thing: You shouldn't hang on the rim three minutes into the third quarter of a basketball game. Feel good about sweeping the Yankees. Feel good about winning all these games in a row. Feel good about being in first place. But to hang on the rim this early? Let's hang on the rim in October. That's when you hang on the rim.» -Kay

Clearly Kay was not happy with Campbell's comments which led to this heated message he had for him on the broadcast this afternoon.
It is safe to say Campbell got under Kay's skin with those comments.
