MLB's biggest trade deadline star is officially off the table

All MLB executives can now stop pursuing New York Mets Star Pete Alonso as they have just announced he is off the table.

As it stands right now, they are on pace to be at that suggested bench mark, as well as the team is only 1 game back of .500 on the season.

This has put a major damper on teams gunning for the slugging 1st baseman, the Jays included.
