Toronto Blue Jays Addison Barger was given a gift by David Ortiz after his incredible pinch hit Grand Slam which he ended up rejecting.

Barger was brought in to pinch hit late in game 1 of the World Series last night in which he hit the first ever pinch hit in MLB World Series history.

After the win, Barger joined the MLB on Fox panel to discuss the game in which Ortiz gave him one of his signature "My Dawg" shirts for his incredible performance.

Derek Jeter then informed Ortiz after Barger left that he left the gift with the panel as he clearly did not want to keep it.

AL East rivalries run deep!

During the Blue Jays press conference after the win, Barger spoke on leaving the shirt behind stating that he did not want a shirt with a Red Sox player on it as he would not wear it.

Clearly Barger is a Blue Jay to the core as he would not even accept a gift with a rival team's logo on it from an MLB legend.

The Blue Jays have yet to announce the lineup for tonight but hopefully Barger will make another appearance as he was a big part of last night's win.
