Atkins speaks on how close he was to trading Bo and Guerrero at the deadline

During an interview yesterday, Blue Jays GM Ross Atkins was asked multiple questions regarding the trade deadline including how close he was to trading Bo Bichette and Vladimir Guerrero.
Atkins told reporters he never planned on moving either Bichette or Guerrero but did not comment on if he has a plan to sign them to an extension.

While it is great to hear that there was no plan to move either player, fans are concerned that Atkins has yet to start any discussions regarding an extension with either player.
