The Blue Jays announced that they have added a new pitcher to their organization, Dillon Tate from the Orioles.

Tate was designated for assignment by the Orioleson August 28th after having a rough season bouncing between Triple-A and the majors and posting a 4.59 ERA with the Orioles.

A former top prospect as a starter, Tate is 30 now and working as a reliever. Another pitcher for them to potentially take a look at down the stretch.

Paolo Espino DFA'd.

The 30 year old was a former top prospect that has now become a decent relief pitcher that the Blue Jays might look into bringing up towards the end of the season.
