The Blue Jays have a busy off-season ahead if they plan on putting out a better roster than this year but the number 1 concern is Vladimir Guerrero who enters the last year of his contract.
Guerrero is one of the best hitters in the MLB and has said on multiple occasions that he wants to stay in Toronto for his entire career. This leaves it up to Mark Shapiro and Ross Atkins to make him the right offer.
According to reports, the Blue Jays will attempt to lock up Guerrero in the month of October so that as soon as free agency opens up after the World Series, they will know where they stand and who they could afford to go after.
"I expect them to be proactive in October to see if they can get something done with Vladimir Guerrero Jr before the market opens up in free agency"

There has been no real update regarding Bo Bichette who is also entering the last year of his deal but it seems like the Blue Jays main concern is Guerrero which makes sense after the year he has had.
