Toronto Blue Jays manager John Schneider has officially announced the starter for game 5 tomorrow night in Los Angeles.

The Blue Jays have Shane Bieber taking the mound for game 4 tonight as he will look to bounce back from his last performance which came over a week ago against the Seattle Mariners in the ALCS.

Blue Jays name Trey Yesavage as the game 5 starter

Schneider met with the media this evening ahead of game 4 to give an update on Springer who is apparently a game time decision which is why the Blue Jays have yet to announce their lineup.

The Blue Jays manager also stated that Toronto will have Trey Yesavage pitching his second game of the World Series tomorrow night as he was named the game 5 starter.

Trey Yesavage starts Game 5 for the Blue Jays, said manager John Schneider

Despite being only 22 years old and the player with by far the lowest salary on the field at $57K per year, the Blue Jays seem to have all the confidence in the world in the rookie pitcher as pitches another massive game tomorrow night.

This is the craziest stat of the World Series:

Trey Yesavage, the Blue Jays starting pitcher who makes $57K a year, started the game by striking out Shohei Ohtani, who makes $47M - that's 824x his salary.

Depending on how game 4 goes tonight, the Blue Jays will either be battling to give their World Series dreams alive tomorrow night or will be fighting to take back the series lead.
