The Toronto Blue Jays have announced their starting pitcher for game 7 of the World Series tonight.
Blue Jays announce Max Scherzer as game 7 starter
The Dodgers ended up walking away with the 3-1 win tonight in Toronto which has now forced a game 7 tomorrow night at the Rogers Centre.
The Blue Jays have decided to go with
Max Scherzer instead of Shane Bieber for the final game of the World Series with the championship on the line.
Max Scherzer will start potential Game 7 for the Blue Jays, per @longleysunsport.
Some fans are not too happy about the decision as they are worried that Scherzer will not be able to deliver due to his age.
can't believe the season will depend on whether or not 70 year old max scherzer can do the impossible for 6 innings
On the other hand, some are very excited to see a game 7 with Scherzer who has been on fire lately pitch the final game of the 2025 season for the Blue Jays.
Tbh I'd rather see the Jays win it with Max Scherzer on the mound tomorrow
The Blue Jays could have potentially went with Shane Bieber but it looks like management felt more comfortable with Scherzer on the mound when looking at how the two have been pitching so far this post season.
