The Blue Jays announced two roster transactions today that include utility player Addison Barger and outfielder Nathan Lukes.

It looks like Barger will be optioned back to Triple-A after playing a few games for the Blue Jays while outfielder Nathan Lukes has been called up and will be activated in time for tonight's game.

ROSTER MOVES:

🔹 OF Nathan Lukes recalled from Triple-A and will be active tonight

🔹UTIL Addison Barger optioned to Triple-A

Lukes has been playing very well so far for Buffalo as he has .284 batting average with .348 on base percentage while accumulating 23 hits and 13 RBIs in 81 at bats.

Hearing that OF Nathan Lukes is headed to Washington to meet the Blue Jays.

He had a strong spring training but was the odd man out at end of camp. Batted .284/.348/.432 in 20 games with Buffalo.

Hopefully Lukes will be able to help the Blue Jays with their offensive struggles even though he will probably not see a ton of playing time.
