The Blue Jays announced two roster transaction yesterday that saw RHP Nate Pearson get called back up from Triple-A while Chad Green had been placed on IL.
Pearson was playing well prior to being optioned on the 16th as he has 9 strikeouts in 6.1 innings pitched while only allowing 4 hits and 0 runs.
Green on the other hand has been placed on 15-day IL due to right teres major strain.
