The Toronto Blue Jays are in the middle of their ALCS, and fans all across Canada are showing their support, a pilot in Halifax even drew the Blue Jays logo in the air with his flight path.
Fan in Halifax does something remarkable with his plane in support of the Toronto Blue Jays.
Alex Arsenych of CTV News reported on the incredible feat a local Halifax pilot did with this plane. His name is Dimitri Neonakis and he has been a pilot for 27 years.
Let's go Blue Jays
Nenonakis was asked by CTV what inspired him to accomplish such a feat.
"«Oh, well, I love the Blue Jays. Been a fan since 1993, since the early 90s, the Joe Carter era. I'm not a fanatic fan, I love the Blue Jays, I'm a Canadian, and I support a Canadian team.»-Neonakis
It wasn't too complicated to do in the end, he simply had to draw out the logo on an aviation app, and while he was flying he followed the flight path on his iPad.
"The Halifax resident shares he has drawn dozens of images in the sky since then, sometimes using it as an opportunity to show support for his community, for sporting events, and around the holidays. As for the Jays, Neonakis says he will be watching Game 3, when Canada's baseball team will take on the Mariners at T-Mobile Park."-Arsenych
Luckily for Nenonakis the Blue Jays blew out the Mariners in game 3, and will be looking to tie up the series in game 4, going back to Toronto with all the momentum.
