Blue Jays George Springer calls out MLB for wanting the New York Yankees to win the division
Toronto Blue Jays outfielder George Springer was caught making quite the bold statement regarding the MLB and New York Yankees.
Springer was caught in an awful situation during yesterday's loss to the Red Sox as he first had a hit called a foul ball then was struck out on a pitch that was not a strike.

The league did not look great yesterday when Springer hit a ball that was clearly fair yet was called a foul ball sending him back to the plate followed by an atrocious third strike for the strikeout.
Afterwards, Springer was clearly very upset stating that if the MLB wants the New York Yankees to win the division, he just wants them to let him know.

After the game, manager John Schneider also got involved stating that the play would have likely resulted in a two run double if the umpires made the right call.

The fact that foul balls cannot be reviewed does not make much sense in the MLB as they can review a ton of other plays yet for some reason foul balls are excluded from this.
The Blue Jays have seen quite a few calls going the other way over the last few games which is why Springer likely lost it last game and made these comments regarding the MLB.
