The Toronto Blue Jays wouldn't be where they are right now without George Springer, their run to the World Series against the Los Angeles Dodgers was in large part because of his contribution, and now he wants to make a positive change off the field.

Springer has partnered with Jack Astor's and Make-A-Wish to help kids in need this Christmas season across Canada.

George Springer helps kids in need this Christmas season.

Hugh Green of Athlon Sports reported on Springer taking steps to improving his community, and ultimately the country.
Springer has always been active in his community when playing for the Houston Astros, and now he is bringing that altruism to Toronto and Canada.
"There are 3,700 kids across Canada still waiting for their wish to be granted,» he wrote. «This season, I'm teaming up with @jack_astors to help make more of them come true. Get to Jack Astor's and order from Santa's Secret menu, round up your bill, or buy a @makeawish_canada star to support the Tree of Wishes. Every bit helps bring hope to families who need it.»-Springer

Springer was the best player for the Blue Jays this season, by far the most consistent. Even in the playoffs, nobody will ever forget his home run in game 7 against the Seattle Mariners in the ALCS to send the Blue Jays to the World Series.

"Springer played a huge role in the Blue Jays' run to the World Series last season before they fell to the Los Angeles Dodgers in seven games. He batted .284 with four homers and 10 RBIs in 16 postseason games in 2025. He is entering the final season of his six-year, $150 million contract with Toronto in 2026. Before that, he shared an off-field development with his fans on social media."-Green

Springer is still chasing one more ring, and next season will be hist best chance, with how the Blue Jays roster is shaping up.
If Springer can replicate his form from this season, the Blue Jays will be in the hunt again for the World Series but more importantly Springer is doing more than just playing baseball, he's making a real difference to people who need it.
