George Springer makes Blue Jays history
Springer finished the 2025 season on a high note as he hit his 32nd homerun of the season yesterday afternoon against the Tampa Bay Rays.
One more for the road. George Springer's 32nd home run of 2025.
He's going to land on MVP ballots. One of the best stories in baseball. #BlueJays
History was made yesterday by Springer as for the first time in Blue Jays history, he finished by leading the team in homeruns with 32 and stolen bases with 18.
For the 1st time in #BlueJays HISTORY a player will lead the team in home runs AND stolen bases in a single season!!
2025 George Springer.
#LightsUpLetsGo
This was the perfect way for Springer to finish off an incredible season as one of the front runners for Blue Jays team MVP.
Springer finished the season with 32 homeruns, 18 stolen bases, 84 RBIs, .309 batting average and .399 on base percentage all at 36 years old.
Most thought Springer had the worst contract in the MLB last season and this year he has been one of the most impactful players in baseball.
If the Blue Jays plan on going deep this post-season, Springer will surely play a massive part in that the way he is playing.
