Blue Jays issue statement concerning Bowden Francis

The Blue Jays took on the Angels yesterday in a great 4-2 win in Anaheim when pitcher Bowden Francis was on the mound.
Francis had an incredible game as he pitched for 7 innings only giving up 1 hit and 1 earned run while striking out 8 batters.
The 26 year old has battled with consistency issues this season as well as injuries but since being called back up from Triple-A on July 29th has been pitching a lot better.
The Jays hope Francis can step into a full time starter role in the near future as he has shown he is capable of it on different occasions throughout the year.
