The Blue Jays will look to Trevor Richards to take the hill in game 2 of 3 against the San Francisco Giants this evening. It was originally scheduled to be Chris Bassitt's turn in the rotation.

But with the Jays only having 4 true starters right now, they have elected to move the bullpen day that was scheduled for July 1 to this evening to allow Bassitt, Berrios and Kikuchi each an extra day before their next starts.

With the All Star break coming up, they were going to need 2 more bullpen days before that regardless of whether or not they held off until Saturday.

First pitch is scheduled for 7:07pm ET. The game tonight is available on Sportsnet 1.
