Blue Jays lineup vs. Yankees draws questions from fans

Today, the Toronto Blue Jays are playing the New York Yankees in the third and final game of their series, however, their lineup is making some fans upset.

Yesterday, the Blue Jays had an interesting game against the New York Yankees. After a horrific first inning from Kevin Gausman, the Blue Jays came back and made it close, although they ultimately lost by a score of 9-8. The Blue Jays bats came alive in the match, and they certainly showed a lot of tenacity.

Today, the Blue Jays have just announced their lineup, and there are some curious decisions. For instance, once again, Davis Schneider and Justin Turner are missing. Meanwhile, Kevin Kiermaier continues to get starts despite an abysmal batting average. In the replies to the tweet below, fans had numerous questions about this lineup, with one saying "I hate analytics" and another saying "So we're trying to lose ??"





After yesterday's loss, the Blue Jays are currently 4-5 on the season. They haven't been able to secure a single winning streak this season, which is pretty disappointing. However, they do have their home opener coming up tomorrow, so there is always an opportunity to get things together. Only time will tell whether or not they can make it happen.
