The Toronto Blue Jays had another disappointing loss to the Kansas City Royals last night in which the offense did not show up once again and John Schneider held them accountable.
John Schneider wants the Blue Jays to get back to basics
The Blue Jays had a rough loss last night as they lost 2-1 as the offense continues to struggle with only 4 runs scored in their last 4 games while the opposing teams have scored 28 runs.
After last night's loss, Schneider told reporters that everyone on the team is trying to get a big hit right now and it is hurting the team, he added that they need to just focus on playing baseball.
John Schneider says that everyone wants to get the big hit right now, but the #BlueJays play their best baseball when that's not the mindset.
«We've got to have better at-bats. We will.»
The offense cannot seem to figure it out as even their superstar Guerrero has failed to get an extra base hit in 11 consecutive games now which is not a good sign when he is suppose to be leading the offense.
Vladimir Guerrero Jr. has gone 11 consecutive games without an extra-base hit
The Blue Jays are currently on a pretty big slump as they have officially lost this series to the Royals but will try to avoid the sweep this afternoon with Yesavage on the mound.
Hopefully the day off tomorrow will help them reset which they desperately need to do if they want to start to pick up momentum before the playoffs.
