Blue Jays manager John Schneider makes interesting comments on the team's roster for 2026

Toronto Blue Jays manager John Schneider went on TSN's Overdrive yesterday afternoon to discuss the World Series run and made some interesting comments.
After the Blue Jays loss in game 7, Schneider made a touching speech directed towards his team stating that he knows they gave everything they had and thanked them multiple times.

During the interview, Schneider spoke on the Blue Jays trying to build off of their momentum this past season as they go into the 2026 season in which he stated that they will have a good number of guys coming back.
"I think we're going to have a good number of guys coming back, there obviously free agency but we're going to have a good number of the same guys" -Schneider
When asked how the Blue Jays will try to keep that same bond and tightness in the clubhouse, he stated that it comes from within and that every if the team is different, he believes the players returning will push to bring that back.
" Every team and every year is different but I think we definitely showed that when you have a cohesive unit, not just players, but a cohesive unit from staff, front office and fan base, you know what I mean, it could be a pretty dangerous thing." -Schneider
Finally, when talking about the World Series, Schneider stated that it was everything he had ever hoped for but that the Blue Jays simply fell short as the outcome was wrong.
"It was everything I hoped for, just the outcome was wrong."

While changes are expected for next season, it looks like the goal for the Blue Jays is to build their team in a very similar way to this past season.
