Blue Jays pitcher Erik Swanson's career might be over after latest update
Toronto Blue Jays pitcher Erik Swanson has been having a tough time during his recovery and things continued to go poorly during his first rehab assignment yesterday.
Swanson was scheduled to be back by now but recently had a set back in his recovery after feeling pain in his shoulder while pitching which is why all of this is still going on.
Swanson's career might be over after tough outing during rehab assignment
The Blue Jays have been worried about Swanson after his recovery process has been going quite terribly and yesterday things took a turn for the worse during his first rehab game.
Swanson made his first rehab appearance yesterday for the Florida Complex League Blue Jays and thing went terribly as he failed to record an out while giving up 4 runs, a solo homerun and a double.
Tough 1st rehab outing from Swanson, who faced 4 batters without recording an out. He allowed 4 runs (3 earned), 2 of which came in after he departed. #BlueJays

Since Swanson has been dealing with all these injury issues and now he cannot seem to find his game in one of the lowest levels of the minor league's, it is hard to imagine that he will be able to return to the MLB.
Unfortunately, if Swanson cannot figure things out with this injury, it might be the end of his career with the Toronto Blue Jays as it does not make sense for them to keep him on the rosterer.
