Kevin Gausman posts on social media about downtown Toronto's lack of parking
Gausman seems to have gone into the city during his day off before the start of the series against the Chicago Cubs which begins today and had some interesting and funny comments about the parking situation in Toronto.
So apparently there is no such thing as free parking in Toronto
Former teammate Justin Turner found this post hilarious as he replied a bunch of laughing faces under the post.
Even fans got involved on the action giving their opinion on the situation, one fan stated that the issue stems from all the skyscrapers that have gone up downtown recently.
Most streets used to have parking but we're all replaced with bike lanes. Our city is in shambles, but we're lucky enough to have you on the team. Soften the blow for us come October!!
Gausman is currently on a 5 year $110 million contract which pays him $22 million per season but it seems like he is just like the rest of us and not trying to waste money on little things like parking.
Blue Jays take on the Cubs tonight at the Rogers Centre at 7:07 PM
