The Blue Jays announced some terrible news for their top pitching prospect Ricky Tiedemann who's season has unfortunately come to an end without ever truly starting.

Tiedemann has been dealing with an elbow injury since the beginning of the season and after going in for 3 separate opinions, the Blue Jays have announced that Tiedemann will have Tommy John surgery.

This is terrible news for the organization as they have been battling injuries all year long and it does not seem like a break is coming.
