Important role player for the Toronto Blue Jays Isiah Kiner-Falefa is not expected to re-sign with the team, he is likely to sign with the Los Angeles Angels as he enters the free agent market this offseason.

Kiner-Falefa needs to play a key role now that Bo Bichette went down with an injury, and it could really raise his value.

Isiah Kiner-Falefa to sign with Angels this offseason.

Kenneth Teape of Toronto Blue Jays SI writes that it will be Kiner-Falefa's last season with the Blue Jays.
"This is a golden opportunity for Kiner-Falefa to showcase his talent on a big stage ahead of free agency. His versatility will generate value on the market, as this tenure with the Blue Jays is expected to be short-lived as well. That is because Joel Reuter of Bleacher Report has predicted he will be moving on in free agency, landing with the Los Angeles Angels."-Teape

Kiner-Falefa has more than proven his worth on the defensive side of the game, but this will be a big test for him as he has to replace to the AL leader in hits.
No one expects him to fully replace Bichette's hitting, but at least have a respectable showing would be a huge help for the team in these final series'.
"Defensively is where he holds the most value. The versatility is nice, but sometimes, players are moved around because they don't excel at a single spot. That isn't the case with Kiner-Falefa, who makes a positive impact everywhere. He won the Gold Glove Award in 2020 with the Texas Rangers, rewarding his incredible defensive ability."-Teape

If Kiner-Falefa does end up having a decent showing at the plate, there is no doubt he will have a decent pay day in the city of angels.
Even if the Angels end up passing on him, Kiner-Falefa will be able to land a deal this off-season but the size of the contract will all depend on how he plays.
