The Toronto Blue Jays take on the Boston Red Sox in Toronto tonight and the veterans decided to have some fun with the long list of rookies prior to the game.
The rookie on the Blue Jays were seen entering the stadium all dressed up as penguins as it is rookie dress up day, an annual tradition in the Toronto locker room that takes place every year.
If you wanna be penguin, a penguin you shall be! Happy Rookie Dress Up Day

The Blue Jays had quite a few penguins walking into the clubhouse as the team is loaded with rookies this year between Joey Loperfido, Addison Barger, Luis De Los Santos, Davis Schneider, Spencer Horwitz and Nathan Lukes.
These are the fun types of things that keep a locker room in happy spirits despite a rough season as the Blue Jays have been having.
One Veteran than did not seem to have with the choice of costume was Kevin Gausman who stated he hates penguins.
Spencer Horwitz tied our single-game franchise rookie RECORD with 11 total bases! #TOTHECORE

Spencer Horwitz has been an absolute FORCE at the plate this year!
In 83 games, he's slashing .277/.363/.471 with a very solid .834 OPS
If the #bluejays called him up earlier, he'd be a serious contender for AL Rookie of the Year!

Do you like when teams do things like this?
