Buck Martinez doubles down on his comments regarding the Yankees after Aaron Boone's response
Toronto Blue Jays broadcaster Buck Martinez spoke on his comments regarding the New York Yankees not being a very good team after Aaron Boone spoke on it prior to game 1 of the ALDS.
Boone told the media ahead of game 1 that despite Martinez believing that the Yankees are not a good team, their manager stated that they are.

During the final stretch of the season, Martinez stated during a broadcast that the Yankees are not a good team due to their wild pitches, poor base running and overall defense.

During an interview ahead of game 3, Martinez explained himself but stood by his comments stating that the Yankees clearly are not a good defensive team and struggle when running the bases which was on full display in games 1 and 2.

Martinez also spoke on how Vladimir Guerrero Jr is not a fan of the Yankees and has been playing great baseball this series even in game 3's loss where he hit another homerun.

However, the Yankees did look a lot better in game 3 and it was the Blue Jays that made a lot of costly errors but that does nto mean that Martinez was wrong.
