Buck Martinez speaks on joining the Toronto Blue Jays Level of Excellence
Toronto Blue Jays fans fans have been stating for quite some time now that legendary broadcaster Buck Martinez should be included into the Blue Jays Level of Excellence which he spoke of during a recent interview.
Martinez has showed incredible determination this past year as he has been battling cancer once again which he took time off for and made his return to the booth over a month ago.

Many have been wondering when the Blue Jays will finally decide to included Martinez in the Level of Excellence for all he has done for the organization over the last 40 years.
During a recent interview, Martinez spoke on it stating that he knows fans have been talking about it, adding that he has no control over that and that if it never ended up happening he would have no problem with it.
"I love my job. I love the fans in Canada. They've been awesome to me throughout my career as a player, manager and broadcaster, but that is something I have no control over. It's great to hear people talk that way of me, but I wouldn't have any problem if it never happened either." -Martinez
The Blue Jays Level of Excellence currently has 11 members including Jose Bautista, Paul Beeston, George Bell, Joe Carter, Tom Cheek, Carlos Delgado, Tony Fernandez, Cito Gaston, Pat Gillick, Roy Halladay and Dave Stieb.
Clearly Martinez deserves to be part of that group as he has had just as much if not more of an impact that any member currently there due to his service to the organization over multiple decades.

Fans would likely be very surprised if Martinez ends up never getting in with all he has done for them and the team.
