The Blue Jays are currently leading 3-1 in game 7 of the World Series as emotions are at a all-time high when both benches cleared.
Benches clear after Andres Gimenez is hit by a pitch
In the bottom of the fourth inning, Gimenez came up to the plate when he took a couple pitches high and close to him before finally getting hit by a pitch.
Benches and bullpens clear after Justin Wrobleski, having gone up and in twice already on Andres Gimenez, hits him. Gimenez motioned at Wrobleski, who came off the mound, George Springer ran to pull Gimenez away and others poured out.
Both benches cleared as did the bullpens which resulted in a lot of swearing on the field but nothing that amounted to an actual fight.
Context: Justin Wrobleski threw three up-and-in fastballs to Andrés Giménez. The third hit Giménez on the hand. He looked at Wrobleski and questioned him. Wrobleski questioned him back. There were lots of F-bombs. And two pitches later, George Springer hit a liner off Wrobleski.
