Toronto Blue Jays pitcher Chris Bassitt spoke to the media this evening for the first time about being moved to the bullpen in the ALCS.

The Blue Jays decided to add Bassitt to the ALCS 26 man roster this series after he was left off the ALDS roster against the New York Yankees.

Chris Bassitt speaks for the first time since being moved to the bullpen

Bassitt spoke to the media this afternoon ahead of game 3 in which he spoke on being moved out of the starting rotation and into the bullpen for the ALCS.
The Blue Jays veteran pitcher did not seem upset at all and was actually rather excited to be back in the bullpen as he stated it is where his career and love the chaos of it all.
Chris Bassitt on pitching out of the bullpen: "I came up as a reliever. I love the chaos of relieving. I love the fans talking crap to me. I love all that.

I joke with Schneids about it - I could throw every game of the playoffs, it don't matter."
Clearly Bassitt is far from upset about coming out of the bullpen for the series and actually pitched quite well is game 2's blowout loss to the Mariners.
Bassitt also spoke on the fact that the Blue Jays are down 2-0 in the series and stated that it sucks but that the team still has confidence to go out and win.
«We're not really shook by being down 2-0 it sucks but again, we just have confidence in what we have built.»

-Chris Bassitt

So far Bassitt has looked solid coming back from injury but the tell of if placing him in the bullpen instead of Max Scherzer will in game 4.
