Davis Schneider makes it clear he doesn't want to play anywhere else despite rumors
Toronto Blue Jays outfielder Davis Schneider recently went on the 6ix Inning Stretch podcast with Whit Merrifield and Lindsay Dunn in which he spoke of how much he loves playing in Toronto.
Schneider has been surrounded by rumors heading into the trade deadline and since there has been more regarding the team looking to possibly trade him in the off-season.

On the 6ix Inning Stretch podcast, Schneider discussed a bunch about how much fun the team is having this season including why him and Myles Straw were caught wearing each others jerseys going out for supper.

When Schneider was asked about his future and playing for the Blue Jays, Schneider stated that he cannot imagine playing anywhere else and that he believes that playing for Toronto is an experience like no other.
"I can't imagine playing anywhere else, to be honest. You're not just playing for a city, and I think that's the reason why it's such an experience." -Schneider

Clearly Schneider loves playing in Toronto and if things play out the way he wants them to, he will not be going anywhere in the off-season.
Schneider had a tough start to the 2025 season but since being brought back from Triple-A, he has been incredible at the plate for the Blue Jays.
In his last 30 games, Schneider has 5 homeruns and 17 RBIS to go along with a .268 batting average and .366 on base percentage in 711 at bats.
Despite the rumors, if Schneider continues to deliver at this level, the Blue Jays will likely end up holding onto him for next season.
